Title: Free throttle assemblies.
Post by: Nathan S on February 07, 2010, 01:26:05 am
In the spirit of offering stuff up before throwing it away...

'Normal' type.

Left column, top to bottom:
Unknown throttle tube, nothing wrong with it, I just don't have a housing to suit.
Yamaha throttle tube, damage as per pic.
Honda throttle tube, damaged where cable clips in (probably fixable?!).
Steel tube, cam broken off.

Middle colum, top to bottom:
Honda tube, obvious damage (lawn mower..)
Honda housing, two broken screws badly rusted in to LHS part.
Half a Honda housing, nothing wrong with it.
Unknown throttle tube, damages (see wonky shape of grip).

RHS column, top to bottom:
Unknown complete assemble ('80s KLR250!?), Damaged throttle tube.
Yamaha 4-stroke complete assembly (takes two cables, I assume XT250/350/600). Damaged throttle tube.
Yamaha DT complete assembly. Damaged throttle tube.
Domino tube andbottom part of housing - top missing.

Gear-drive type.

Top row, Left to Right:
Yamaha housing and gear.
Yamaha top part of housing and gear.
Yamaha throttle tube, obviously broken.

Bottom row, L to R:
Yamaha complete assembly. Throttle tube is actually two pieces, held together with packing tape.
Magura complete assembly, obviously with damaged throttle tube.

Going in the bin at the end of the week. Will post if you pay for postage.
