This marque site been a bit quiet recently except for 090.What are you guys cooking up for the coming year.I'm slotting a '69 250 engine into a 73 enduro frame using a Montesa front end (experimental).Using a High point tank and waiting on a GMC sidepipe(living in hope that one day I will find a early frame to match).Hope to be ready for Coles Creek later this month.I know Hamster is busy with his CZ's.Where are you at Gigantor with your CZ?Jikov are you back on track?Any action in other states/NZ?

That bike looks familiar Brad. Did it start its life in NSW by chance?
-
Apparently it was dirt tracked in Victoria is what I was told.
-
Didn't I read somewhere that you were 1 bike away from divorce ...... ??? ??? ::) ::) ::) ::)
-
PS how many helmet visors does a guy need ???? :-\ :-\
-
Brad, can you let us know what you paid for this gem ?

What started as a prep, fix a rear flat and mount new plastics ended up a bit more. The paint was looking a bit ordinary so before I knew it, it was in bits. Got the frame back and put some time in on friday, saturday and sunday night. Just have to put the exhaust back on when the old boy fixes the baffle.

Very nice Happening in CZ World
Powder coat or 2 pack
-
I normally paint but this is powder coated as I knock the paint around too much in a short period and wanted more longevity.

Good swapmeet find Brad.Good to see some pearls do turn up even nowadays. Is that a Husky polished tank?Just as an aside a question for you guys.Do your CZs have a bit of movement even when tightened up of the back wheel. The bearings are cz and seemed ok just on the axle without the backing plate.
-
No its the later model cz tank.
With the rear wheel, check the housing to bearing situation. The housing may be flogged out. Mine was and John T. had to do a job on it.
-
I've had that happen as well, was the drum/sprocket side that had flogged out which I sleeved 1 night after work
