Alison, that does look very Conondale and the kid has got the shits 'cause dad stuffed the tyre. But hey, it's on the kids side so he should be taking care of it!.
Are any of the WA sidecar teams coming to Broadford at all?

Hittatree looks likes he's sent himself to sleep again, no wonder the girl wants to have a drive.
Nice outfit though.

What a concept sleep riding! I was merly admiring the ripper job I did on painting the fuel tank!

Sorry guys, you are all wrong. ;D

The photo was taken at the 80 or 81 Howqua Rally at Sheepyard Flats in Vic,and the bike was a Grand Prix. He's my mate Rob (and co-worker). He laments that he would have won the sidecar race but the bike threw the chain ( the sprocket was nearly the diameter of the back wheel and any dip had the chain dragging in the dirt) and the pic was taken while he was apologising to his son Dave for losing. Poor kid was used for ballast for several riders and to this day still wont ride a bike!

The little s**tbox apparently managed to injure quite a few users who thought they were man enough to handle the critter....alcohol was a great ability magnifier!

Is that a 77 GP  frame ?

I was refering to bike 691  . If it has the SR 500 engine in it , I believe that was my old practise bike .
Sorry not your old practice bike know the full history I'm the third owner and your not one of the other 2, does have an sr engine but the frame is much older than "77

Hey Hittatree, don't tell him you imported yourself or everyone will want one. If it wasn't for that GP guard it could almost be a pre68.

Hey all, love the old pic at the rally. Thought I'd share a pic of my old rig. It ain't a racer but it was old, and tired. Yamaha XS100 '79. It got really, really tired and I had to let it go due to lack of funds at the time, but the two boys and I lived a lifetime in that thing.

Great shot Gary, looks like you and the boys are having fun. That will be hard to get out of their systems when they grow 'older' (not up as we never do that).
