Title: Advice Needed - 2x CR500's

Hi All,

I know I'm not in AUS but in South Africa

I just need some advice on advertising my 2x CR500's

What will a reasonable price be in AUS$ for this bikes?

I can always work the value bank to Rand and get a ball-park value

I have two offer @ Honda dealers in South Africa for the bikes @ -+ 3000 AUS$ a piece

Knowing bugger all about CR 500's I'd say that'd be a ball-park figure from a dealer. They look in pretty good condition so I'd reckon about $4000.00 each if you were selling them to the public. Maybe a bit more.... :)

I wouldn't go anymore than $4000 as the they both have damaged pipes  :-X

I'm a bit lost - are you intending to advertise them in Oz - they aren't pre 85, there are a few around on Ebay for the prices mentioned above and then the rather large costs and difficulties in getting them from SA to Oz - why?

take the money from the stealers!! If you were going to advertise them for sale in Oz, people would have to add on transportation and Customs etc to get them in the country, so don't think you would get 3,000 for them.  personal opinion only.

Second that, depending on year and condition some get posted at $7000-$8000 but thats top condition 2000 models and CRE500's. Dont know if they sell. Good luck.
