hmmmm. i think we may know the seller, he lives in Antartica !

C'mon folks. Only a few days to go and if it doesn't sell, the mighty it465 gets it in the neck! (Maico Girl is standing by with the 'wheel of love')
Snap up up this once in a lifetime chance to own something blue(ish) with a one piece pipe/muffler and a base gasket made from the back cover of the 1985 Womens Weekly year book. :)
Seriously, it is a great start for an IT resto or grouse VMX project. ;)

And I haven't 'ratted' a single thing off it...... ;D

I'll 'fess up to being one of the watchers of this one. I don't doubt it's a good deal, but it might as well have a million dollar reserve and be pick up only from Mars as far as I'm concerned right now...
I hope it goes to a good home, rather than being ravaged!

C'mon. Four hours to go. You've only got yourselves to blame when the sparks start flying....... ;)
-
Oh Dear. I just heard a bell toll........ :'(
-
what is going to happen to it now. :(

As soon as I get my goat's head back from the dry-cleaners, we're carving this baby up. ;)

??? You reckon you would get more than $820 as parts?
Be patient; try again ;).
To wantonly break up a fairly good/complete old bike is against the unspoken code. You run the risk of having a dreaded curse placed on you. Something along the line that all your bikes will develop the handling of a Yamaha and the reliability of a Bultaco - or worse. ;) ;D.
-
No. I'm not breaking it up as parts to sell off in the hope that I'll get more money than that. I'm breaking it up to keep the good stuff that I originally bought it for and then flog the rest of it off so as I'm not tripping over the surplus crap in my shed.
I feel not one iota of guilt..... 8)

some one needs to open a can off woop arse on you mr ,why dont you give to some one who will cherish it
-
Yeah I've seen the error of my ways now. I couldn't think of anything worse than to break up a perfectly good bike to make a 'Frankenbike'. And those IT's are so rare! Thanks Paul. I think I might give the bike away now.... ::)
-
On second thoughts, I've given stuff away to guys on the forum and not even got a "thankyou" so it's back to the disection... 8)

Due to the over-whelming number of people wanting this and that from the IT, whatever I dont keep will go on eBay and the public can slug it out as to how much they want to pay for things.
Please don't ask for something on the QT as refusal often pisses people off offends....
-
reminds me off a montesa seat i never got paid for either
-
Reminds me of the bike frame I took to Sydney for a bloke (that couldn't post the seat off in the short amount of time of three months ???)
-
and that reminds me off a monty in bits that i was asked to hold for 12 mths ;D ok 3mths then get told that martians had stolen your wallet so you had to back out
