looking forward to the CD5 update. ;)

are you going to do your email out to people who regularly buy it off ebay? you usually email me with the special pre delivery price but i havent got that email yet.
-
Yes, the eBay offer will probably come tomorrow, I've been crook as a dog and everything is a struggle at the moment... :(
I'd strongly suggest checking out our subscription pricing first though...it's a better deal than buying single issues, especially right now... ;)
-
yeah the ebay deal is just quick and easier for me. thanks!

Hi everyone!
Well, Issue #32 has been mailed to subscribers today. Hope you enjoy it! 8)
It will probably appear at the newsagents in about a week from now. :(
-
Ah CD5.... I'll post the info over at that thread now if you like.... ;) (Page 40 in the mag)

Another fine issue guys. And me with the day off too - ahhh how pleasant to sit back and browse through all those great articles and fantastic photos. JBR Hondas, works RC500s, RM250Zs (I used to own one of those!), Aussie Vinduro etc... love it.
But every time I browse a VMX magazine, I just think to myself, why didn't I invest wisely in real estate in the 80s so I could retire now to a warehouse sized garage that I could dedicate to collecting and restoring every old bike I want to, AND gather all the memorabilia I can get my hands on????
Bugger....

Can anyone tell me if there's a story on the TT/XT 500 Muster in there?
-
Nothing about the XT/TT muster in this issue but the story on the XT/TT rebuild is in there. I got my copy on Monday and yeah ya can quess which acticle I read first. ;)
-
Hmmmmm................ thanks for that.
-
Not a bad issue at all, though I'll have to sacrifice much of the beer budget to cover the jump in cover price ;D ;D
Anyone from Qld manage to get any contact details from the Japanese contingent that travelled out to race??
-
The bloke to talk to about the Japanese riders that raced at the Whitsunday classic meeting is Ron Single on 0429451475 . He is the main organiser of this annual event & has been corresponding with the Japanese guys for some time now . Apparently they are keen to travel to Australia again next year . One of the tourists who raced in the 'pre 78 open class at Proserpine was Torao Suzuki , who was a factory Yamaha G.P rider in the early '70's . He was also a factory Montesa rider & finished 8th in the 1978 World 250 MX Championship .
I am sure that Ron would not mind me giving out his phone number , as he has it listed on a mailout that goes out to all the competitors at the event.
