Title: Breather tank cap for XL250 Motosport?

Can anyone tell me whether a later model chrome cap ( not sure when these started...but maybe early '80's caps)with the breather tube on top, will fit on the early 250 tank?

i have a cap with a breather hose and my sl. i also have a stock non breather cap and its the same except from the hose so i would say yes it would fit

I scored one on ebay for my Indian and its the same as the Honda SL petrol caps.  The bloke had a few of them and it was in Aussie as well. jimson

Answer Yes! used them on all our old early250/350 XL racers.      (Wreckers and get the ones off the CT 125/185/200 agi bikes ;)) Cheers

Probably don't need one......but thought it will look trick. ;D
