Title: TM125 Vs TF125 cases
Post by: Power Stand on January 15, 2010, 03:55:10 pm
Advice needed?

Are the crank cases off a TF125 the same as a TM125? Got a friend that’s restoring a TM125 and he heard that the cases are compatible; the main bearings slipped/ fell out the TM.  I guess date ranges may be a factor.

Not the same at all, the TF is crankcase reed induction. 73-75 TS125, RV125 and TC125 are interchangable with the TM125

TF125 is the same as TS125 about 78/79 onwards or the ER models.

The TC125 cases should be the last used as the High/ Low ratio bits on the left side can be a pain. ;)
