I don't know a whole lot about old Ag bikes, but is this thing really collectable?

He seems to be dreamin' a bit.

so does that mean the speedo cable broke at 10km's and then the bike continued on and has done another 20,000 but its just not shown on the speedo?

dont ever trust speedo readings after all how could something with ONLY 10 kays need piston/rings/clutch,the ladies thing is dreaming and since when have aggie bikes become collector's pieces?they handle like a damp sponge and are flat pullin the top off a custard!!!

This one sold for $610 last month.  They're both in Melbourne.  I wonder if it's the same bike.

Maybe 10k means 10,000km?

Used for mustering, 10,000km would be quite a few hours of use

Im not sure i read it properly but i thought the list of parts, piston, rings etc was a lot of new spares that go along with the bike when he sells it.

nope, I'd say that list of parts is what's been fitted Leith. First thing that sprang to my mind when I read the add was like other, why would a bike with only 10k on it need piston/rings/valves/clutch. I'd say it's done far more than 10k or it's simply a lemon ;)

I'm sure most of that would buff out  ???  ???

that's gold Bahnsy! :D if it didn't buff out KB a smear of body filler would do the trick but you'd only get 3 minutes of ride time :-\ no doubt someone could rebuild it but 1 would have to ask the question :D
