is there any body in australia making moulds for castings

Probably less than a few years ago,are you meaning for sand casting or injection moulding? I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the only toolmaker on this site

there is someone in QLD casting brand new Goldstar BSA heads, infact hes doing the whole engines. Ive seen the heads in the flesh and they are good and are sand cast by the looks of it. Dont know who it is who's doing them, but if you contact 'Mike Reily BSA's' in QLD (think i spelt his name right) he would probably know who the guy who is casting stuff is as Mike is a BSA gold star expert so he would know for sure. I also know someone else who a had some custom made barrels done somewhere in Australia a couple years ago when he was building a custom V twin AJS/Matchless . I do not know where but i think they used to advertise in Just bikes. The price was really cheap too. There could be a lot of money in reproduction improved DG, FMF heads etc if someone wanted to get into that.

What do you want to cast?

C and H Tooling in Tullamarine, Melb operates a foundry as well as a machineshop. Steve specialises in Magnesium casting and can do ally as well and is happy to do specialty work in small batches. He's a rider as well so your requirements won't seem 'too' odd! PM me if you can't find him.
