Hi all, i'm having a play around with making my own KYB fork label sticker for my RM125C.
Did the original KYB label have that green colour like on the rear shock resi or were they a straight chrome silver look.
My old worn ones show the a green in them.
Cheers...Mario

Another label question ;D did the aussie delivered MXers ie RM's come with english warning labels or eng/french labels?
I've been scouring the net for images of both to replicate until i can order some next year.
All the images i can find are mostly un-readable (pixelated when zoomed).
Getting the bike ready for "show and shine" on wednesday at work for that finishing touch.
If anyone has a photo of the fuel tank label or what it says (eng/french) any help would be great!
cheers...mario

Cant remember what the fork sticker colour was. I want to say silver but dont know.
I think it was only the USA that didn't have french. Im sure the UK, Australia and Canada got english french stickers
Follow the link, Ive put some big pictures on for you
Let me know when you've got them and I can put my normal site back on that address

RMJJ you are a life saver mate :) :)
They are the ones i was playing around with.
I could not make out the wording on the french part of the premix one and
the word "either" on the warning label.
As for the fork label i'm thinking silver as well but my old labels have a green tinge around the border,
but maybe time and conditions have dis-coloured it.
If anyones interested just click on the link.
Thanks again RMJJ.
cheers....Mario

Mario, here's picture of the fork sticker on a pair of 400N forks I have. Black on chrome for this item and so far as I remember this was the only sticker with duel language. The mix ratio was all english and on the tank but the larger sticker pictured on the 80 tank below this was placed on the front of the rear guard just behind the seat of my 400C when I bought it new ;)

Reproduction Decals (Ontario, Canada) could possibly have them, http://www.reproductiondecals.com (http://www.reproductiondecals.com) super fast service, postage is free and their prices are good. They may well have the fork stickers as they have a whole stack of stickers not shown on the site and I know for sure they do the same stickers for the kawasaki's (except they have kawasaki motor co and not suzuki motor co printed on them) sorry for the large pics but I wanted to try and show the wording ;)

Thanks Doc that throws a spanner in the works as i thought we were eng/french on the tank label.
Funny how the forks are dual language and the tank is english.....I printed up RMJJ's version last night ready for todays show 'n' shine at work.....and drum roll \ / \ / \ / \ / i came out with Peoples Choice in the bike sector. ;D
I will order the proper ones though as we had a quick 5 minute shower pass through after the judging.....looking at them now, they have smudged a little...lol.
One of the workers asked if i knew anyone interested in a PE175....guess who said SOLD? ::)
I've been after one for a while and its the fullfloater too...Z or D he doesn't remember.
When we get back to work in mid Jan....i need to make room....i have 2 spare bedrooms left ;D
Cheers all and thanks for your help!
Merry Xmas.....Mario

I always thought only the USA got English only but I don't know for sure as already said
Maybe a clue is in the manuals for Australia. Was that English/French or just English.
I'd guess the stickers matched the manual language.
-
RMJJ, the manuals were all english only in oz ;)
-
Ok we'll go with english only for us in oz ;D
So you are saying.....just the pre-mix sticker in english only on the tank for the larger bikes.
That warning sticker on the front of the rear guard and not on the tank. (80cc has both)
So we didn't get these 2 on the rear guard like the US ?

Thanks again!

yes we did have the warning label on the rear guard Mario but again from memory mine wasn't quite the same as the warning item shown above. I'll have to look into it a little more but definately no duel language anywhere except on the fork legs ;)
-
Yeah sorry Doc what i meant was that warning label you showed on the tank belongs on the rear guard of ours.
Those 2 i showed are US spec and dont belong to OZ delivery.
So pretty much KYB labels sorted, just the english premix label on the tank and your Warning label (english) on the front of the rear guard.
i'm happy with that :)
Thanks Doc i know its petty stuff but its just one off those last things.
cheers...mario

I just contacted them Leith and they said they didn't have them ??
-
Hi Kevwrx
They don't have them for the 1978c models but they have them for the 1982 RM465z
click on decals and look up the 1982 RM465. scroll down and they sell the warning set for $16 us dollars
I don't know why they don't list them for a lot more models as they are the same for many models.
I have bought a few sets for my bikes, they are printed on foil and are fantastic quality. The Takasago rim stickers are a very nice touch to a bike.
Very quick delivery to the UK too.
Brilliant company to deal with.
