I found  the old girl down the back of the farm in a shed we don't use

Yamaha 1980 XT250

seen better days!

the story I was told was the previous owner had a bad accident and hit a tree, and the bike was never used again.

front is a little off, rear swing arm is bent, missing exhaust, and spark plug lead, I was going to try and get it going for the farm but it needs to much work I can't be bothered putting in.

I have been assured by friends of the previous owner that it will run, and was running fine when dumped in the back shed, it's just not pretty to look at.

$200 come and pick it up

forgot to mention I also have a box of spar parts, mostly crap...

I just noticed that once the dirt has been cleaned off there are some fairly new looking parts on it!

the rims look SHMICK! and the brake or clutch lever (can't remember which side the new one was one) looks brand spanking new!
