Fred and Deb Carter in NZ make lots of replica bits for the KT. The only replica KT guards I know of are fibreglass and Fred and Deb sell them.
Plastic universal trials guards by Gonelli look good on KTs and fit well.
If you are going to ride it I would recommend the Gonelli rear and the fibreglass replica front.
If you want to see what a KT looks like with both Gonellis I can email you photos.

I owned a KT for awhile. Found the power good but its clutch was a bit abrupt and the bike wanted to plow the front compared to a 247 Cota. A great special interest bike though - nicer than a TY. The clutch action on that particular bike may have been atypical as I hadn't ridden another example.

I still have the KT250 that I bought new in 1975. It is much the worst for wear and I want to restore it when I get done with some of the other projects that are in the shed. I rode it solo in club competition and did quite well on it. I fitted a sidecar to it in 1979 and won the SA B grade title on it in 1980, before upgrading to a 350 Bultaco Sherpa on which I won the 1982 SA B grade title. The sherpa is in bit in the shed as well. My young brother and the brothers of my passenger campained the KT for a few more years before it was consigned to the back of the shed whare it has remaind for near on 30 years.

Definitely a keeper and well worth doing up.
