ok guys who can tell me the formula for calculation Cubic Capacity.
i know it has pie , bore and stroke in it?
is it bore X pie squared x stroke ?
-
Hooney , try radius x radius x pie x stroke x number of zylinders . that has worked so far.
-
Thanks Walter, thats works fine.
-
hooney , this is how MA calculates CC.
12.4.1 Reciprocating Engines:
Cubic capacity = (D2 x 3.1416 x C x N)
4
Where:
• D = Bore in centimetres,
• C = Stroke in centimetres,
• N = Number of cylinders

there are at least 2 ways to do it. one is simple and one is complicated but gives the same answers.
i use pie X radius squared X stroke. then divide that by 100 or 1000 (what ever gets the decimal point moved over to the right spot, i cant remember) this is for one cylinder only

100 if using cm's or 1000 if using mm's

Hoony and another way D x D x Stroke x .7854 = cc

All Good and are spot on!! ................now calculate any bloody Rotary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ::)

Thanks Guys, Very Much Appreciated.
