My CR250 has a bend, which kicks the tip back towards the footpeg, making it more suitable for a size 7 foot, not my size 11's (in Tech8's).
What's the best way to straighten it up, making for less missed shifts?

Slowly with heat from lpg gas flame is fine, I do clutch & brake levers all the time.

I haven't done a gear lever, but I find with brake/clutch levers that if you slowly hammer them back into shape, they will straighten. If you try and just bend them, they break.

Thanks chaps ;)

Alternatively get a saucepan of water on the boil. Heat gear lever, bend slightly, reheat in water, bend slightly etc until desired shape is reached.

TFT> any recipes to go with that method? ;D
I'll be onto the job this week, and will post pics with a rundown of how/what and when!

The 'gear lever' wasn't a set of borrowed hospital crutches was it ;)
