yes i agree its a great shot, i cannot remember who took it but i do know the rider is Bill Williams with Bruce Linsdell as passenger taken at Newry, Vic in 1986.

Bill & Bruce won the Sidecar Aussie Title in Smithton, Tasmania the next year in 1987. these sidecars powered by 2 stroke 500cc MX engines were very fast, handled great, but lacked the sound of the big fourstrokes, MX sidecars were very strong in Victoria & Sth Oz up until about 1990 and then dropped off.

both states had sidecar feature meetings ( Hec Henderson in ACUSA Park, Sth Oz and Daryl Whelan sidecare feature at Outtrim, Vic)
