and I know not vmx but it is stamped rd250 73-77 any idea on this pipe dg. ???

The airbox lid looks exactly the same as the one on my PE175N, only the rubber tube bit is inside out!  :D

Not too far out on a limb, Michael - but I reckon the pipe is from a Yamaha RD250 - 73/77 model ;)  It was an aircooled 2 stroke, twin cylinder roadbike.
