Does anyony know if there were DT1/2 cylinder heads available without the cut off fins on the RH side,to clear the pipe?
If they were available does anyone know where I can get one?
Thanks

Not to my knowledge.
If you wanted fins for a particular project you could cut them off a spare head and weld them on ;). I've seen repaired fins and you would be hard placed to pick 'em 8).

I may have to go that way, but would prefer not to.
How about RT1 head?

DT2MX from memory. But I'm probably wrong. :-[

You mean all same height or only the very end ones ?
I have Dt1 heads that have both end fins same heights but are slightly lower in the center, 2 plugs also and run inline with the frame not at right angle like the normal DT1 heads you see. I think the casting is 214 but id have to look, sorry no foto here, down at other place.
other similar options are YZa(http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d88/munchboxlive/yz003.jpg)
or DT2mx (http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d88/munchboxlive/RIMG0392.jpg)

Yes, like the one in the photo (no52), or similar

This one not sure, its off the YZ but its sand cast so im not sure someone might be able to ID it??? The square sections seem to be part of it as there equal levels and not cut with a grinder or similar. I have no idea what it is, what does the ACK look like ? anyone(http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d88/munchboxlive/RIMG0530-1.jpg)
also while on the subject them red alloy Bolts are they able to be torqued up to the same Lbs as the steel ones or safer to leave them a bit on the soft side ?
