Title: 1987 KLR650

Sorry it's not really vintage or really a dirt bike, but I thought it was worth asking you blokes. (And girls.......... sorry Alison  ;) )
I'm looking for a 1987 Kawasaki KLR650 in blue.
I've seen one on eBay and the one in the Trading Post but both of those look a bit shabby.
I'm happy to spend about $3k for a reasonable one.

Great Bike Tony, i loved mine, will post some pics up when i can.

Beware of unmaintained counter balance shaft drive chains.

Thanks fellas. I had one from new too, Hoony.
I did maybe 20k on it in the year I owned it before buying a DR750 in '88.
I've got lots of good memories too and although my V-Strom is a great, great bike, it's still too 'modern' for me.  ::)
The KLR isn't exactly 'vinatge' but I've got history with it so it will do me for trips and occassional transport.
The main aim though is freeing up some cash to get a 'real' dirt bike again.  ;)
Caps, if that bike is in excellent shape and he's interested in selling, let me know.
