That was awesome but who won and where did the old dog Schwantzie finish?
-
Apparently Dovizioso won and Rossi was 2nd.. no mention of Schwantz.
I went motocross riding with Rossi and Melandri at a track in Italy back in '98 and Rossi was no slouch. He was CR125 mounted back then.
-
Some years back i was practicing at the local MX track with Steve Martin. At the time he was on a CRF450R and was matching it with most of the PRO riders. A sight to see.

He's a good comedian too plus he's just released a banjo solo Album. What a versatile bugger! ;)

'Comedian' should have been in comma's ;D (The Jerk was his high water mark), Steve used to go the Mt Gambier bucket races when he was a big time Superbike rider ihere in Australia.

Steve Martin "The Man with two Chains" you can thank commentator Mike Raymond for that gem!!

I've seen him live and reckon he's a f**king genius. His Saturday Night Live stuff from the 70's is brilliant, but his movies are mostly shite I have to admit. Sadly I've never seen him on a superbike or trolling the streets of Mt Gambier.

I think the writers and the rest of the cast of Saturday Night Live made him look good there. His live video lasted 3mins in the VCR on a rainy day..................................
The 'other' Steve Martin won the World Endurance Championship(WEC) in between commentating duties ;D

Kevin Magee turned up at Mt. Gambier one weekend (after winning his first GP) on an SL 100 riding in the bucket class. God knows why................. :-\
I've got a photo.................. somewhere.......................

First and only win, in fact Tony. Pole, fastest lap, and win, a big day out for the lad. Can't help feeling his results somewhat undervalue Magoo's prolific natural talent.....
