One relativley simple question. I know the answer would most likely be availabe on the forum somewhere however I am hoping that it may not be a confusing as the alloy RM swingarm question.
Q: Can you use (new) Ohlin shocks with damping adjustments on the RM250T and still be ok in regard to eligibility for EVO class at the nationals? IE: Rebound and compression adjustment and piggy back

YES.

YES.
Shit that was easy..... Thanks suzuki27

It shouldn't be a problem using them but someone will probably disagree.

That's what i thought Johnny going on what I have seen in other threads.... ;D

SHock design is free only the travel restricted, and the use of cans to post 75. You can run what you like, that can do what you like so long as the travel at the axle is in spec.
-
correct me if I'm wrong (here we go.......) but isn't there a restriction on the overall length of the shockers to be no more than 'x'% over the specified original spec length? Or is this only in pre-75? :-\

Thats a new one to me. ONLY thing i have ever seen relating to dimentions and ratio;s in the MOMS is handlebars and layouts in Speedway, and also positions of sidecars and clearance, but never seen it for solo's relative to period DT or MX

I think you're right Canam but only applies to pre '75. No more than 1" longer than std.
-
CAn you give me a page number in the MOMS so i can look it up.

Their used to be something about shock lengths in the rules years ago but I think it has been removed.
There has been a few rules removed over the years. I often wonder if they were removed on purpose or just left out in some sort of "typo"
