Post by: Scunge on November 15, 2009, 11:14:42 pm
Honda gurus I need your help!
My CR250 RD 1983 model, came with a non stock linkage and I was wondering if any of you out there might no what it is?
The stock linkage is on the top, in the photo.
Any and all help appreciated.

Looks too rough to be a simons link but it could be or a copy of one. Its about the right length. It would have mounted differently on the frame if it is.
If the ride height is good just use it .It makes the linkage ratio better . 84 models have a similar lenght linkage standard.

What about a Boyesen link?

No Boyesen links are way more complicated than that and never got marketed as far as I know.
