Hi you will have to probably chase it through wreckers or ebay they can be a bit hard to come by thanks Michael. :)

Im not 100% sure but i think on the PE forum we might have CAD drawings of the N battery box. I know we got the T/X one done. It will then be a simple matter taking it to a sheet metal specialist. If we havent got the N battery holder drawn in CAD then we can look at getting it done. The N battery holders are really hard to find as not all states got blinkers until 1980. I would have to dig through some parts books to confirm but i think its the same part number as the 82-84 PE175 battery holder.
The DG heads are not impossible to find, there has been maybe 4 or 5 on ebay in the past 3 years.

You WILL need to 'phone every Suzuki dealer in Australia, New Zealand or Belgium, to track down an N battery box (41540.41520). They are VERY, VERY rare indeed, today. You might be wise to also ask for the PE175Z battery box, which was the N battery box with rubber bushings!
See http://cid-407d7ef0965d3991.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Pure%20Enduro/Battery
for every picture and diagram I have on the E24 (Australia) battery holders.
CAD drawings of the T/X battery box and various other PE bits are here

However they are NOT the same shape or mounting as the N and lived down beside the engine.
The DG PE175C/N head turns up about once a year on eBay. Be patient, or ask friends and associates. I was incredibly lucky to find one sitting unwanted on a garage shelf for 27 years... a freebie!!
You may want to join the discussion list Leith hinted at, where 140+ PE guys gather.
