Title: Am I getting old?

Or are the present crop of world championship motocrossers piss-poor? Not a "hero" amoungst them. No Smets, Everts. No de Coster, Noyce or Robert. Just some skinny Italian kid who's overdue a visit to an orthodontist.

Maybe you haven't seen Ciaroli ride. He's super fast and sometimes abit wild like an modernday Italian version of Bob Hannah and a legend in his own time .Like any 3 times world champoin should be.
His come through the pack charge to pass everyone including Tedesco and Villipoto at MXdN 06 was awe inspiring.

I'm not arguing their skills. But can you imagine sitting around a braai barbie in 20 yrs and discussing Ciaroli?

Its an attitude thing. Go to any MX meeting and its about what you look like not who you are.

yep we are all gettin old.  ;D
Especially when you realizes you used  to fork over $5 or $10 for an item and now its $200 or $300  :'(  :(

I can still clearly recall my surprise when the 2-stroke petrol can I filled cost $0.60 at the local Golden Fleece!  WTF?! I had to empty my pockets to get enough to pay. When did the price go up?!!!!!  Jeeeez!!!

My mum used to religiously hunt down the Amoco garage for a fuel up in the old XP falcon we had.
