I suppose but they are still period trick stuff, your right a bit pricey but people will pay for fully rebuilt already stuff. I picked mint restored Simons and clamps for that money.

Because they are making money. And why wouldn't they. Their lending is now guaranteed by Governments, they can't go wrong; "Too big to fail".

I could make alot of money too if I was allowed to print it .I would print a stash give it to the Gov. who would then give it to me and put it on the books as a debit for the taxpayer to pay back. How does that sound?? ;)

Sounds great if you are in account surplus and don't have to borrow any money overseas that is additionally adding to the debt owed by the tax payer. Still if you can pull the rabbit out of the tax payers hat without them noticing through indirect taxation (or robbing the pension scheme) then you may get away with it.
