Title: Shocks for Rm250T??

Just picked up a Rm250T for racing that has currently a set of IKON 7614 Series Shock Absorbers on it, think that they may be similar to a KONI shock. Anybody have any comments... good bad or otherwise in regard to them?

Any supension gurus in QLD you can suggest that you might be able to help sort both the shocks and the forks for that matter and keep them in regulation trim for the Nats ect would be appreciated.

I am new to getting these old girls running properly again and any help/comments would be appreciated.

Will chase him up tommorrow and see what he thinks.

Yeah that was my bike, i sold it to Ricky. I had ohlins shocks on it and it has more preload and a higher oil level in the forks.

Rick wanted the Ohlins back, :( Never mind hopefully have it sorted by next year.

BTW, the VMX mag I was telling you about with the article on these bikes was issue no14 2002

Interesting read thanks mainline 8)
RM-N and T which jointly remain the pinnacle of Japanese twin shock development.Both the 250 and 400 are still winning in Evolution and Pre 80 racing the world over.
I will get to be more edgmucated about these modern bikes yet ;) ;D

We have got the whole collection No1 Winter 1998-No39, (new I married him for a reason ;) ;D) They are great reference library to have, I believe you can even subscribe online now too. 8)

Yes Mate happy to get another one under my belt.. Now I will hopefully have a full dancecard for the club days..

Would be happy to get a copy of that article in issue 14 if you have it.. I will try to buy the back issue first..

VMX247 thanks for the info on the VMX mag, I think that a subscription is in order, I have only just been picking the Mag up as I see them appear in the newsagents.. RE: the shocks, hopefully have them sorted by next year :)
