Post by: kkj2009kkj2009 on October 24, 2009, 03:27:54 pm
i just bought a ts125 in pieces, assembled it with new piston and rings all which came with the bike, i have all parts except for an oil pump, i have heard that this can cause main bearing failure, can anyone confirm this??

Yes, the magneto side main bearing will fail without the oil injection working (CCI = Crankcase cylinder injection) they are cheap and easy to find on eBay or at the wreckers.

Don't forget that they are almost identical the TF125 and DS125 too.
