or some guidance on what else my fit

the 1976 forks are 36mm if you go for something else and you hve the triple clamps i would live to buy them for my tt500 dirtracker

all yz250 and 400 front ends up to at least 1979 will fit but you need to keep to 1977 to be pre78 leagle.i think 77 modles are 38m
