My church is the race track, (wish I could attend every Sunday). I will pray for good weather
-
g'day jim i'm looking forward to it, but first have to overcome lethargy from this horrible cold i've had for the last week or so and put my slider back into working order! all i have to do is put the head back together and rework the exhaust pipe so it stays in place for more than three races. any how i'll get there even if its just to wave a flag. cheers wally.

I'm lookin forward to it too, what number and bike are you on motorman?
Brett number 95 for now

MX250A number 52 and DRZ400 number 722, A foot in vintage and modern era but in saying that the DRZ is 10 years old and I am fairly vintage myself.. I wasn't getting enough racing in so bought the vintage bike this year.
Last race at Nepean I was able to do 12 races which is the objective...race a lot! Next year I plan to do some Vintage MX as well so I can get even more in. Hope to meet up with you at Nepean one day
-
Motorman, did you go to the last practice day?
Brett

Oldyzman, yes I did but left the ol' girl in the trailer. With one round to go I don't want to risk my 3rd place in both vintage class point scores. I'm a trophy hunter. It pisses my wife off when I (on a rare occasion) bring home another little trinket for the trophy cabinet, (which lives in the dinning room and is too small). I am also trying to catch up with my son's qty of trophies. Now that he has stopped racing I might get there but will be 60+ before I do!
-
Not really a trophy hunter, just in it for the ride!
-
slip sliding away, poxy fugging rain >:(,think hiring a moderner water truck is what jinxed us ;),nice and overcast to start the day off, misty rain was ok,till later, tad too much, descretion the better part of valour, the club pulled the pin!(i was pretty happy with that ;D),ah well always next year, ;)

The track went from sticky to slippy!

I didn't ride this one, just pitted for my son, daughter and son-in-law. My daughter ended up having a trip to Nepean hospital after a nasty get-off at the end of the start straight and my son-in-law cracked his collarbone after a nasty high-side exiting the speedway bend. Only had my son left at this point and I was getting a little nervous, with bad things happening in threes, so I wasn't unhappy about the meeting finishing early because of rain. Despite all of the above everyone is OK, and holding out for the next meeting. This meeting was very well run and my team would have had a bunch of rides if only they could stay on their bikes.

Jeez Pete....Was Kristy on the Astro or the mod bike? I'm glad they're OK.
Are you coming to the Show'n'Shine?
-
Kristy was on the modern bike Mark, as the Astro's apart getting some gearbox work. I'll be at the show'n'shine for sure - working feverishly getting things ready,
Pete.

Great Day- not too dusty.
A large thank you to all of the officials and people who helped organise the race days...
