Title: Links to Vmx Pics Sidecars and Solo machines .
Post by: Tim754 on July 31, 2007, 11:41:54 am
Here is one that features From the 50s on Sidecars and Solos. in British Isles. http://www.classicbikes.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
One footnote, Marc Wolverson is featured (on page 7 second last photo) high in the air over a jump, the Outfit has Mag type wheels,  Sadly Marc passed away recently from illness at the young age of 42.
His father John is a friendly wealth of info for sidecar builders as he has been racing and making them since the 1960s.  Contact me for his email address if you like.

Yeah, typical Euro!
If sidecar racing as like this in Australia.............. shit, even I'd pay money to see it...........  ;D
What interested me most was how they race with chairs on both left and right in the same race. Never noticed that before. Is that normal??

We where running both chairs here in WA,but not now.
I better not say anymore or might start something I'm not suppose too ;D ;D ;D
Maybe we'll end up back with both chairs in the future.
Copy rights are pretty strict on this (rein williams)website, just can't get that screensaver happening.

Tony in late 80's when i was racing MX sidecars left hand chairs were the norm' but their was 2 right handers racing in Victoria then and yes it was all in.
