Great see you are still around Graeme, still playing with bikes ?
VMX shocks , We don't just sell them - I design and produce them individually for you since 1989.

I’m old, and I’m still here from time to time.
I’ve never raced or moved in those circles.  I’ve always been a lone trail hack and moved to moderns as time evolved, but love old bikes and tinkering on them. This forum has always been a wealth of knowledge, I poke my head in occasionally but there’s not much traffic anymore, but that seems the same for most forums. I think the instant phone access to social media seems to have caused that.

As a relative newcomer to the forum, it is great to knpw some of the forum history. I joined to gain proper information which is difficult to find. Social media sites are full of incorrect information and advice from "Knuckle heads". I believe well administeted forums are the modern day encyclopaedias with the correct information.

I see no value in expousing rubbish information and theories.

I also find these forums one of the best sources of information.
Many experienced experts, willing to help.

A valuable resource, where often answers can be found by searching the archives.

Facebook has too many idiots “contributing”, and I find, even recent posts impossible to find once the algorithm decides you should be interested in something else.

My thanks to the people running, and those contributing to, this forum.
