DJ,
Don't worry DJR, there is no point getting up to watch the rugby, well not if you want to see a team actually score a try!!
If there is a test on, Ajay will probably have a big screen on order.

So Ajay, after not mentioning the rugby, can we get back on to the subject of CD-5? Now what was that date again ??? ;D  I hope you realize that a KISS concert is coming up and all us 40 somethings are gonna want ta be rock'n and roll'n all night long, so its best if you dont have a clash of dates ;) ;D ;D.

Nah, its gotta be in Vicco (the heart & soul of VMX in Oz) besides CD 1,2,3, & 4 has been in Vic, next you blokes will be wanting to hold the AFL grand final in another state as well. "Damn you Heathens"  ;D :D

The hallowed soil of "The Bool" would be the obvious place, could also be a help to the Sporting Motorcycle Club to help kept this shit hot piss cutter track. riding Barrabool in its prime is something else.

So Raymond terrace it is then. What facilities are there and is there camping grounds there? What is the track like, is it hard pack, clay or soft sand?

page 40 of vmx shows a blank figure with a Zook "S" in the guts of it.
is that a hint?
or is Hiekki really gonna be the man?

I will make an announcement tomorrow, right here on OzVMX, as to the identity of the mystery rider.  You'll be the first to know, before it even goes up on the VMX website.

As for some of the other questions (and yes, a more detailed outline of the event will be up on the website late this week or early next week) -

Camping is definitely available at the venue.

The track is being resurfaced over January and we're told there will be a clay base (to cover any existing rocks) covered by fresh soil.

Call back here tomorrow for news on the guest rider!

Regards

Ken

Well, it's tomorrow already so I better do what I said I was going to do and let you know who will be attending CD5.  VMX Magazine and Suzuki Australia are proud to announce (world first scoop here on OzVMX by the way) that the mystery rider is........

Joel Robert

We're very happy to say the least and yes, Joel will be doing a few laps on both Saturday and Sunday.  From the chats I've had with him so far all I can say is that he's very friendly and very keen to meet everyone downunder.  There'll be more news on the website in a few days time.  Don't know about you but I'm pretty excited!

Regards

Ken

Mr Ken,
That's brilliant! Congratulations to VMX Magazine for organising for such a legend to come to CD5.
I'm looking forward to it already!
Cheers,
Mark.
