Yamaha / 83 IT250K piston pin

Ok the IT250K lemon that keeps giving, removed the old barrel and piston went to insert new piston and found the piston pin needed was a different size. The piston and pin removed were wiseco and the pin was 57mm long. I now need a pin I believe to be 61mm long. the Piston I do not know what make but details are on the face has CD and -010 printed and under the pin support has the number 504 and on the other one an indescribable stamp. If anyone has the original pin part 214-11633-00 could they tell me the length. Or can anyone identify the piston. Need pin and circlips, thanks Barry

I have just had a bloke contact me with a super pioneer 350. Wanted some info.
Are there many in Australia?
Who imported them?
Any other info on them
He also asked did any dealer import the Ossas in the 2000's when there was a resurregence

Can anyone give me the size of the rear shocks. I have the following dimensions (approx)
top 15mm interior, 25mm wide
length 340mm
bottom 12mm interior 25mm wide
Hope that makes sense

Yamaha / IT250K Head

Took the bike out for it's fiorst run, blew the head gasket, not happy
On inspection of the head it has 5 studs and a bolt at the rear of the head. My parts catologue shows there to be six studs in the head not 5 and a larger 8mm bolt.
Can anyone explain?
Also torque settings for the studs and larger bolt

Yamaha / IT250K questions

Bought a 1983 IT 250K very happy but have a couple of questions
Tail light
the manual I have shows a complete assembly required, which I am having problems finding. Yet some pics show the IT with basically the lens attaching direct to the fender. Any help is good
the Kick Stand gusset.
worthwhile trying to weld new piece on or can a universal kick stand be purchsed that works

Spaniards (Bultaco, Ossa, Montesa etc) / Ossa Fibreglass tanks

Anybody had problems with the fibreglass tank not being suitasble for modern fuels. Murray grant has had one go to "jelly'. I have a SDR tank I am looking at sealing

Husqvarna / 74 Husky cr250 rear wheel

Looking for either a complete rear wheel or jus the hub. Damaged my left hand and can't change tyres anymore. Want to do dirt track and speedway meets so would like a wheel with trials tyre already set up to swap.

Some days in your life turn into diamonds. During the week a gentleman rang me and offered me an Ossa Pioneer basket case for free. I thought why not, almost finished the Rickman Zundapp, no spare cash to buy anything, might at least have a look. My bottom jaw almost hit the floor when I got this
