76 TS125
« on: February 15, 2023, 09:47:24 AM »
My friend has a 11/75 TS125 he wants to restore. (The common “It was my first bike” motivation)
Parts he needs include Headlight, Speedo, and Top Triple clamp (Cracked right through!!).
Are these parts common to other models/years?
Thanks for any info.

Silver engine are virtually the same as all early years. Those parts common with TS and TC 100 and 185. The 76 also the same for those parts. Headlight changed in very early models but i doubt you will find a good flat bottom unit anyway. I see the parts your after on fleabay all the time. I will have a look and see if I have anything usable. I do have a use to be chrome headlight thats pretty rusty  but solid and maybe a top triple, speedo i dont know if i have a spare. 76 black engine, headlight bucket is black.

Have the following in well loved condition and as usual need a bit of love to look nice.
Complete headstock ex 74 TS185
Speedo i believe works ex 76 TC125
Black headlight bucket with corroded ring  ex 76 TC125

Im keeping the light as its the bulb type not the sealed beam style but sealed beams can be found  as old english cars used them. if your mate wants them shoot me a PM .Pick up Woombye.

skypig, I have a Technical Bulletin for TS125A dated 1975, and a TS125C parts catalogue dated 1977 that your friend is welcome to if he wants.

Cheers

Tex
