the Tassie Nationals will be held over four days, fri 6th to mon 9th of june 2008.
The monday being a public holiday for all states except WA

The provisional venue is at Quercus Park,Carrick in central northern Tasmania about 20km from Launceston.

The track layout at this stage will be natural terrain grass track for the pre 75/78 classes and include separate sections with enhanced features (jumps) for the evo/pre 85.

it is proposed to run pre75/78 on the fri/sat and evo/pre 85 on the sun/mon (subject to change)

The classes to be run are being sorted out.

The inclusion of sidecars is also being discussed and a result will be posted soon.

Sounds awesome guys. :)
Wonder how many bikes I can fit on the ute - I've got bikes eligible for all of the post-68 classes...  :D

Wonder if John Boag's got evo and pre-85 bikes?

Anyhow, two questions:

1. Does MA allow you to run an all-powers class over a 263cc+ class?

2.

Pre 75 125, 250 & allpowers
Pre 75 Under30,30to 39,40 to 49,50 to 59 & over 60
Pre 75 4 stroke allpowers

Does this mean that there will be age AND capacity classes (eg: 30~39yo pre75 125), or that there will be all-age capacity champions and all-capacity age champions (eg: Pre75 125 champion, all ages AND as a seperate title, 30~39 years champion all capacities)?

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Hi Nathan,
Question 1 by Allpowers it should have been 263cc and over thanks for picking that one up.
question 2 I would take it that the pre 75 age groups would be allpowers together

I will endeavor to clarify all classes as the event gets closer
I will definitely have the sub regs out by Christmas

Cheers
