HL couldnt find any info on fork oil weight,but I suppose personal preference has some bearing.Gearbox oil everyone has an opinion on that but Ive just changed mine and am using Motul 10004t 20w-50 which has the extreme pressure additives.The previous owner said he just used a good quality motor oil 20w-50 and another guy I know uses extreme pressure differential oil.Take your pick.

Hi
I 've been using Castrol TQF ,170 ml per leg when dry and with 7 inch travel, 72 kg (wringing wet) ,the CZ riders handbook Recommends;
Transmission oil; Castrol SAE 80 ,&Shell Spirax,
I've been using  that and now Castrol EP80/90 for all my CZ's gearboxes since 1964!!
and  20 to 1 fuel/oil  , have'nt blown one up (yet)
  cheers

Thanks Jikov, sounds like 170cc is the GO.  the gear box oil sounds a little thick, ha ha funny one.
so you SAE 80 is the go for the gear box,  HL

Hi
If you go to the Castrol oil site and have a look at an oil called VMX80,read the tech sheet, sounds like it was just made for the job I have'nt used it, did'nt know about it ,but it sounds like the stuff, available from Supercheap ,
