found it...dont ask me what issue it is cause the covers been ripped off so i will give you a few details on what adb says about it before i try and have a go at scanning it for you all....so here goes.....leif perssons works yzm500 yamaha.the engine is still aircooled but is more than a match for the water pumpers in the hands of hakan carlqvist.sand cast cases, power valve, round slide carb and radically shaped pipe.factory ohlins front and back with hand made aluminium swingarm.hubs are magnesium...and get this this is strange, disk on the front drum rear.......now ill try and scan this and put it on .....might have to get the misses to help.... ;D

any luck with scans ?

I have pictures of Carlqvist's & Leif Perssons YZM500s in my computer, but I don't know how to reduce them down below 128kb so I can post them. Any tips ? They are both air cooled , with a variable exhaust port & an exhaust pipe that also acts as an air scoop to direct air on to the top end.

What actuates the valve?Exhaust gas pressure or is there a rod from a governor off the crankshaft?
