Yes he can do that with  that maschine . I also built a second one again for our selfs here, or sell it to any interested professional wheel builder (except Sydney area). The first one I built for Link in Queensland and it saves them lots of time.

If you're going to build a replica of anything you have to do it as faithfull to the original as possible. That would have to include Thor swingarm, Simons forks and Fox Shox. Going by the below photos the Fox bike has Silver DID or Akronts. The rims in the photo aren't Suns like I thought they had. I'm not sure the bike photographed is a genuine bike or not, I suspect it's not going by the unpainted pipe which wasn't the fashion in '77, so the real deal probably did have Sun rims. I'll keep looking for a photo of an original bike.

they probably used aftermarket DID's aswell, but the Moto X fox RM preparation book i have only mentions Suns. i would have genuine perod fox RM pics in that book or in a fox catalogue or on computer somemwhere.
that bike just looks like a replica Scott Stegar built from parts.

im pretty sure Fox had their own swing arms too so you might not have to have a Thor

i was just reading that book and not all the Fox 125's has Simons forks. some riders still used the stock ones and modified the std forks with Simons or Fox fork kit. Mark Barnett was one of those

This replica was at 2007 Classic Dirt at Broadford - looked good with the silver rims.

Yep they are very long and lay down at about 45 degrees with Thor arm, the shocks are currently on a 79 cr 250 but they are a bit long for that  :)
