4681 Springs
« on: May 22, 2018, 03:36:36 PM »
Its time to clear a few shelves . I have alot of White Power  mono springs to clear out .  Some are OEM replacement springs ( 82-90)  and most are to suit the WP 4681. ( Both ends 59 mm ID .  They are in lengths of 260, 270, 290 , 300 and 320 . If its a specific  spring rate you are after , just ask . They are new , but due to age and moving them around over the years , some may have slight marks . Cost $95 per spring or less for bulk buyers . 08 82848033 BH

Yes Hoony ,way too many . Imagine the kids getting 600 springs each as a inheritance . LOL . I think they will prefer the folding stuff moor . Better to reduce them in price  and move a few to make room for current stuff . 4681 is the normal WP shock like you have  . (Non PDS )

Whats the best way to determine your current spring rate? Somewhere between 7.8 to 9.7 kg/mm.

Get it tested  or find out from the manufacturer. Every good bike shop should have spring tester. Alternatively you can compress the spring 10 mm on the scales . That will give you the rate in kg / cm , or compress it one mm that will give you the approx . N/mm
