Not VMX but, this fellow has passed away yesterday, and a former road racer with a special ability.
Years ago he suffered the loss of an arm and a leg in a bike accident , that didn’t stop him from racing.

He competed and got permission of a special number 1/2, or half. Was going to Le Mans and the TT this year.  A talented man.
Check out his page on Facebook.
Vale.
Bultaco Metralla, Matador MK 5, Montadero mk2, El Bandido model 18,plus lots of bits and two Honda XR's 250,350.

Sad news

Extraordinary spirit to race with two missing limbs.
He obviously didn’t give up on life.
RIP, around the big track Alan.

One of my close friends lost both arms and both legs in a Hang-Gliding accident involving high tension power lines. He was eventually killed in another Hang-gliding accident. Flying with prosthetic arms. Everyone that knew him thought this was better than dying while sitting at home feeling sorry for himself.
RIP, another wingover Pete.

These kind of people humble me.
