So many cool old riders I love to meet. Roger would be extra cool, but we never get him. I like to bring back Super Hunky, Harry Everts or some old salty European GP star.

Doesn't part of who we get depend on the sponsor brand?

Bring “The Man”.
Surely The current “Husky”, (sponsor again?) is close enough to Rogers current employer

Yes I think whoever the bike sponsor is, is the brand the star attraction/s raced for eg Yamaha Heikki Mikkola and Broc Glover.  Husqvarna Chuck Sun.

So for Roger to be brought out right now it would probably have to be KTM as the sponsor.

If you are refering to the first Supercross in Australia in 79, it was at Archerfield Speedway and promoted by Blair Sheppard.

SCMCC will be raffling a 1983 XR200 at the Magoo Bar on Saturday night. Each rider entry will receive one ticket; extra tickets will be available to buy online and at the control building for $5.00. The draw will take place at the bar and you have to be THERE. If the person drawn has not claimed it in 3-5mins it WILL be REDRAWN!! The frame has been powder coated by Sunshine Powder Coatings at Kunda Park and XR guru Peter Baguley from PerformanceThumpers Nambour has the motor to make sure all’s good and replace anything that’s not. More info on the build to come. If you would like to help with the build please message us.
This bike will be ready to ride. So make sure you are at the Magoo Bar to have a chance of winning it. photos to come.

BTW would anyone have a decent front guard for one of these?

I must be missing something.... tried last night for a while, the website's a crap hole and I think it's geared around MA licence holders. If you don't have a licence to log in with it goes nowhere.

I'll try again on the weekend.

I did my bit.
Test rode all the Husqvarnas I could get my hands on at Classic Dirt.
Bought two brand new 2017 Husqvarnas from the local dealer.
Would have bought three if Conondale MX Track was available to ride a few more times each year.
Loved the TC125. Quite amazing.
Hard to justify a brand new MX bike, sitting next to one that’s barely run in. (But 10 years old.)

I’m waiting on a leave application (approved/denied) to see if I can even attend this year.

The sign on site is sucky. is every year but if it saves the admins from a heap of work its all good.

As for test rides I guess we may have to ride our own interesting mechanical marvels or bludge a ride on a mates bike. I can live with that too.
