WizMe

Anybody used WizMe to send bike parts?

Seems almost to good to be true..I just had a quick search online for courier company's. This one may be quite cool for anyone wanting to send bike parts.

https://www.wizme.com.au/quote-flat-rate-shipping/

You buy some boxes from them delivered for about $30.  You pack your stuff in their boxes and they pick up and deliver aus wide.  I got a quote from Ipswich to Rockingham using a 25kg box for just $16 door to door.  You get 4 x 25kg boxes for $30 delivered to your house (The boxes come in various sizes, see website), and then pack everything in and send.  I reckon i could get most of a bike in parts door to door for under a $100.  Here are the 4 boxes sizes.

Just got 3 bikes transported by E-go. Have to put them on a pallet which is easy & get them to & from the depot. 2 bikes on 1 pallet, Gold Coast to Bendigo, 1 bike on pallet, Bendigo to Gold Coast, total cost $350. 7 day turnaround. Check the E-go website, they have plenty of depot's, all states.

Had a look at the Wizme site but when I punched in Broadford it told me to fork off.
Check your to and from postcodes before you buy their boxes as I suspect they are a metro deal only

BigK, i am trying the E-go website and its my second choice... quoted $250 for a pallet to Perth from the east, but they want you to have a forklift or pay extra for a lift truck.  And i think its only depo to depo.  Is that correct?

With Wizme, you buy the boxes and everything has to be under 25kg, but its only $16 a box so roughly $20 every 25kg from coast to coast and door to door.

If i do get the bike, i will play with the figures and let you know.

Yes, Broadford gets a thumbs down....  shame about that, does not  seem like all area's are covered.

I've used Northline Transport with no complaints.  Just got a quote to send the KX in a crate from Darwin to Perth depot to depot for $235.  The same thing on E-go was $1,100 :o

E-go is depot to depot. They forked one pallet off & forked the other on my trailer. No hassles.
