Air cooled, drum brakes, non linkage suspension...I reckon yup.

not mine ,  its an 84' ATK 560  mx, had a 15 minute ride- not as heavy as a block of flats and obviously plenty of grunt and go. the owner got it from Texas when the $$ was good. evo ? can of worms ?

are XT/TT 500s as big and heavy as always mentioned - coz God I lusted after a TT when I was a young fella and still reckon they look good.

the ATK has Honda  83 backing plate, assuming 43mm forks, currently legal , but with the QVMX / Heaven deal where would that put it?? What forks did they come out with?

If that's what they came with then it's not an issue. Also opens up others to use them as they are then OEM from an EVO machine.

The early "84 models came out with KTM rear wheel/twin leading drum and Showa 43mm forks and what looks like Honda drum front wheel. There was an '83 model with Simons upside down forks/drum braked.
