Maico 1974 swingarm
« on: April 26, 2015, 05:58:40 PM »
Wanted either a standard swing arm or a period correct aftermarket swing arm to suit a '74 model bike. Must be in good condition.

Do you want the forward mounted shock arm which the US call 74.5 model or the 73 arm with the early style shock mounts.

I don't really care that much to be honest. I suppose the 74.5 would be preferred.

I'll take a look and get back to you. Think I have a NOS 72 arm somewhere which is the same as the 73 only black painted.

If you use the 74.5 arm it'll look silly without the moved forward top shock mount unless you're going to move the bottom mount?

Fair enough. Looks like it's the early one I want then.
