Honda Water pump impeller & shaft

The 84 impeller

I've had multiple 84 CR250's over the years Steve (4 or 5 from memory) and I have never seen an impeller with an integrated nut setup like this one on any of those 84 CR250's???

Unlikely that they would all of been changed from original?  Unless there was a model change or updated part?

My 85 CR125 has this type of impeller

My 84 125 has this threaded one but for sure the 84 250 has the spline with separate nut.

is that much damage going to make too much difference?

Rossco, I have no idea, never had a water bottle bike before, saw the blade was broken so just figured it needed replacing 

So reckon I've got the right part with spline & separate nut but still unconvinced as to whcih direction the blades should run?  The 81,82,83 are the same being LHS but the 84, being RHS, should have blades going the opposite direction but also has the spline + nut.

One direction the blades would push fluid outwards & the other direction draw fluid inwards, so was trying to confirm which is correct. I could easily fit either but the flow would be opposite so was hoping somebody with an 83 or 84 could put me straight

There is a brand new water pump shaft to suit 84 cr250 on eBay currently, if that's any good to u. If anyone knows of a new or good used one to suit 84 cr125  p/n.   19241-KA3-740 I would be interested, thanks.

This is the 83 pump, it's an original bike so I don't think has been messed with
It rotates clockwise.
