Are you building a bike to fit an era? Pre 85 or evo? If it's a pre 85 then get the later motor.

Exactly, work out what class your running and buy a motor for that class, you seem to want to do a  whole lot of cutting and pasting of motor components that will do nothing except make your wallet a whole lot lighter...

will do if we can  but buggers cant be choosies, you are totaly right but if we are gunna get this bird flying will havta go with the flow so on that note these projects have a will of there own and just hope the Motorcycle Gods are willing and needless to say We will try our darndest bestest
