Regards to your mum on her birthday Firko. Its so bloody hard when its your mum at this stage, hey mate.
Went through the "Do Not Resuscitate" with mum just before Chrissy. Best you think of it as merciful Firko.

They are duty bound to attempt it, but it is common to break ribs on the very young and the elderly. In the elderly, my mums condition, it often just brings about collapsed ribs( she already has one "detached rib") and a resuscitation attempt is exactly that, an attempt that usually produces an unnecessary agonising passing, of what could have just been peaceful.

Me. My bleeding has finally stopped today :D I am feeling heaps better everyday thanks ;), and well enough now to go see Kel and meet my new grandson, right now ;D, she has rang me and told me she has named him after my late best friend Charlie 8)

I am restoring/building a 1964 X3 MC360 alloy oval barrel, Maico of course ::)

This is Macus's black frame 250

They went metallic blue frame at some stage

I am definitely going the red tank, but I buying some dark metalic touch up blue for the tow horse( try not to focus on the ER ;D)

wondering if I should get extra,
Do it in the dark metallic blue  or follow Marcus's black frame?

All opinions or criticisms welcome ;D ;D I can handle it, I think ;D ;D

I prefer the black Mick. Even though the blue might be correct, it looks wrong.

Once you go black Mick, you'll never go back. The blue looks like a pommy MXer from the 60's ;D...

Didn't see you where ill until now Mick. Glad to see you're better, good luck! ;)

If blue, maybe a "older" looking blue that that flashy metallic?? Allthough I don't think I'd have the balls to do it myself and would probably go with the safe black...

Mick what was that old saying (blue and green should never be seen without a colour inbetween) Well it should have read ( blue and red) even though it doesn't rhyme.

What about complete red like this modell 67 here:

or a little darker blue than original

or thr original blue after some years in the sun

or the original green

I think I'll take green or blue for my 1967 GS. But  I'll combine it with an alloy tank (HiPoint Aftermarket, like CCM or Kramer)  :)

I see they were using Blue as early as the WaBeHa

If I go original? this is the Blue I wil use?

Black is so easy to touch up. And this bike will be used until I drop.

There are 4 colours on this Frame. The first was red, like that which is the last colour on the frame now, but lighter. That was also the original colour of the Wabeha 500ccm (Moby Dick) !
Then they have painted it black, then blue and red again...

The Tank was first silver, then red and blue at last.
Maybe I choose the original setup: red frame with silver tank or the aluminium one
