Based on the state of my backyard, those pics are at least four years old.
Based on the state of the mother-in-law's garden, they're more like five years old.

So to answer the question: NFI.

There was an attempt, a few years ago , to get the Yass " Marchmont" Dirt Track going again, there were a few club rides on it ,but it ran into horsey people problems, so I believe.
I will be talking to a Canberra club member , who lives in Yass, and see what the go is.

I did ride at Marchmont a few times in the '70s, on  one practice  day , TD and I snuck the JAPs out onto the outside horsey mile, freakin awesome !!

thats what i thought, the mile track would be awesome to race on.

going by the scale the inside track actually looks real wide track surface to, like about 20mtr across !!!!

I never rode Yass but shit it looks great. It's be great if we had a few more tracks on the vintage dirt track scene.

* How cool to see a hotty EH Premier in that pit shot with the SC500. I had a hotty EH ute in that period myself.

AFAIK, the last event out there was just after we moved - early 2006.

That'd be about right Nathan, Goughy, Hammo, Banksy,Paul Ashlin and others had a few skids around,

Hey Pete, was it you that had a good copy of the Gough Whitlam at Yass photo ? the one with Doug Platts, KP and me in it ??. If you have I would really like to get hold of a copy as mine has suffered badly over the years.

If it's still there? we should try to give a kickstart.
