Missed gears on downshift

I can cope if I don't have anymore moments like Graeme Nelson got to see close up at Taupo, I was limping with bruised knees for weeks after that.
Steve was meant to have arranged for softer springs front & rear as the american fork springs & works performance shocks were rock hard, even with my weight the bike hardly moves when I hop on

Anyone able to provide me with a photo of what the end of the detent pin should look like, can easily grind it in the d bit grinder at work if needed
