2011 GRRR
« on: October 22, 2011, 02:59:53 PM »
 My riding record this year.
One meeting, first Pen. club @Nepean.
 2nd ride, cancelled wet track,
3rd meet, not allowed, 40th wedding anniversary,
 4th, possible, open, officialled instead,
 5th chance, rained out,
Next chance BWP raceday, will be recovering [I hope] from long awaited hernia op.

Total- One ride from the last twelve months of MA licence.
 GRRR.

Cheer up Pancho  ;) How it stinks when ya yearly fees amount to very bloody little, due to the various constantly changing dimensions of life's putrid bubbling shit pie... (I too have been slightly restricted by medical geniuses to no racing ...ever.... again) >:(  Cheers  and careful of that hernia mate. Tim754
PS beware of the things starting with W as they seem to be the bain of a great race day. ie.    Weather Women Wankers Weddings Wounded Weekdays Women etc etc

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

At a meeting (AGM) over the weekend the club in question gave the annual treasurers report and of that they totalled $38k to MA/MAQ for fees etc....where does all that go.?? It's not a very big club and doesn't race every other weekend.

Maybe thank goodness there is a lot of us to share the costs.
But then again maybe its a case of the more money that can be extracted = the more will be spent!

On a brighter note the doc says I tested clear from whooping cough so I should be over the virus thing soon.
 cheers pancho.

I'm just tallying the books for our AGM end of November and we have given MV this year just over $15,000 and we still have one more Club Day permit to purchase, rider levies to pay for the Club Days, Day Licences & Practice Day licence books to see us thru, thank heavens for the Bulk Permit system which includes our rider levy otherwise it would be more. Most of our monies go to the State Motorcycle Complex at Broadford for its up keep up I think ::)
